29 CFR 1926.702(i)(1): Masonry saws were not guarded with a semicircular enclosure over the blade: a) On or about August 23, 2017, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not perform "effective" frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite that they controlled to identify, correct and/or eliminate hazards to which their employees and/or the employees of subcontractors were exposed. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) On or about August 23, 2017 and at times prior thereto, the controlling contractor did not ensure that his sub-contracted employees were protected while walking/working near an unprotected wall opening and exposed to an approximate 25 foot fall.
