Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by and crushing hazards:   On or about August 22, 2017, on a construction site located at 178 WellsFord Road in Goshen, CT, the operator of the concrete pump truck did not ensure the outriggers on the concrete pumper truck were placed on stable ground and did not use the manufacturer's required cribbing setup thereby exposing employees to a struck-by and crushing hazards when the machine tipped over.
