29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): Places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces were not kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition:    (a)  Employees dismantle and destroy electronic equipment that potentially exposed employees to lead dust hazards.  Wipe samples of work bench surface and refrigerator found lead contamination present.  Employee exposure to lead can cause central nervous system disease, kidney disease and other illness.

Employees dismantle and destroy computers and electronic equipment which potentially exposes employees to lead dust hazards. 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  (a) Employees were not trained on hazardous chemicals used in the facility, the Globally Harmonized System of Chemical Classification (GHS), and the requirements of a Hazard Communication program.  Employees use oils and lubricants, and are exposed to lead from electronic recycling operations.
