29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) At 5865 McAshan Ridge Rd., McCalla, Alabama: On or about August 31, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employee to walk the tops of framed walls on the second floor without fall protection exposing his employee to a fall hazard of 18 feet 4 inches to the ground below. b) At 5865 McAshan Ridge Rd., McCalla, Alabama: On or about August 31, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employee to work next to a wall opening on the second floor without fall protection exposing his employee to a fall hazard of 11 feet 10 inches to the ground below.
