29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.   On or about August 31, 2017, employees were expose to fall hazards ranging from 9.4 feet to 18.2 feet while installing tar paper in preparation for shingling on a residential structure.  The employer did not ensure employees were protected from a fall by guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system.   No abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
