29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, and service rooms were not kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition. Production floor: On or about November 05, 2017, the employer did not maintain saw dust from cutting machines and waste wood materials off the floor, walkways and equipment. This condition exposed employees to slip, trip and fire hazards due to poor housekeeping.

29 CFR 1910.1200(a)(1): The requirements of this section are intended to be consistent with the provisions of the United Nations Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS), Revision 3. The transmittal of information is to be accomplished by means of comprehensive hazard communication programs, which are to include container labeling and other forms of warning, safety data sheets and employee training. Production floor: On or about November 05, 2017, the employer did not train employees in hazard communication program; he allowed employees to use plastic bottles with diesel that were not labeled correctly. This condition exposed employees to chemical and fire hazards.
