29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):  Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  (a) Ace Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc. at 526 Pine St., Glenwood Springs, CO 81601:  On and before September 7, 2017, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that employees tearing off shingles from a 7-in-12 pitch roof on a hotel were not utilizing a fall protection system.  Employees wore fall harnesses but were not tied-off to the fall protection system.  This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 50-60 feet.
