29 CFR 1926.106(c): 29 CFR 1926.106(c): Ring buoys with at least 90 feet of line were not provided and readily available for emergency rescue operations: (a) Ridge Crest Drive T 864 at Marsh Creek Bridge - The employer was replacing the Marsh Creek Bridge over water and did not provide a ring buoy and 90 feet of line, that was readily available for emergency rescue, thereby, exposing employees to a drowning hazard on or about September 11, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
