Such programs would support the employer and employees in identify and avoiding potential hazards, such as falls during job site operations, decreasing the probability of employee injury and/or illness.

29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: a) Getz Builders, Inc. on or about September 11, 2017, at the address of 320 Milan Ave. Norwalk, OH: The employer did not ensure an employee working from an aerial lift was adequately protected from falls. The employee working from the lift was not clipped off to the basket while the platform was elevated. The employee was exposed to falls of approximately 14 feet to the ground below.
