29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: On or about 09/12/2017, the A-framed stepladder used by employees when ascending/descended the upper level above (roof top) was not used as designed. An employee completing framing activities was observed using the ladder to descend from the roof top. The spreader bars on the sides of the ladder were not extended, and the ladder was leaned against the structure as though it was a non-self-supporting ladder.
