29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Throughout facility - On or above 9/14/2017, employees were exposed to skin and eye irritations, in that hazard communication training and education was not provided to employees working with hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, 101 Bleach and Kaboom. Repeat Other than Serious Citation: Variety Wholesalers, Inc. dba Roses was previously cited for Other-than-Serious violation of the same occupational safety and hazard of 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection # 1183345, Citation 2, Item 1 and was affirmed as final order on 12/22/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1108 Zebulon Rd. Griffin GA 30224.
