This condition was observed on or about September 13, 2017. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification is required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by hot metal tubes and rotating parts: a) Outfeed Table From The Straight Length Annealer - Employees were not protected by equipment guarding against accidental contact with hot metal tubing being fed from the Straight Length Annealer onto the Outfeed Table. This condition was observed on or about September 12, 2017. b) End Work Area - Employees were exposed to hazards from the unguarded rotating chuck on the Dayton Reamer, Model Number 6K366L. This condition was observed on or about September 13, 2017 Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification is required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
