29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: A). on or about 09/12/17, on the third floor of 213-05 82nd Ave. Queens Village, NY Employees moving/hoisting Q-decks on the third floor were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 20 ft. to ground below. The employees were not provided with any fall protection systems. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
