29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Building Exterior: An employee engaged in framing activities while positioned on an unprotected edge in which a means of fall protection was not utilized exposing the worker to fall hazards of approximately 20ft to the concrete below. Condition noted on or about 09/12/2017. Darkwood Builders Inc was previously cited for serious violations of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926. 501 (b)(13): which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1140842, Citation #1, Item # 2, issued on 04/21/2016 with respect to a work place located at 461 Palisades Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ 07024 which became a final order on 05/24/2016.
