Abatement Note: If an employer meets the exit route provisions of NFPA NFPA 101, Life Safety Code, 2009 edition, or the exit-route provisions of the International Fire Code, 2009 edition (incorporated by reference, see section � 1910.6), it is assumed the employer is meeting the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.34, 1910.36, and 1910.37 (29 CFR 1910.35).

29 CFR 1910.95(i)(2)(i): The employer did not ensure that hearing protectors are worn by an employee who is required by 29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1) to wear personal protective equipment: a) Turning Department (Chuckers): An employee operating a New Britain 657 chucker was exposed to noise levels greater than the permissible exposure level of 90 dBA as an eight hour time weighted average and the employer did not ensure employees wore hearing protection, on or about September 14, 2017. ACTION MANUFACTURING COMPANY, WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD (29 CFR 1910.95(i)(2)(i)) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1114388, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1b, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JUNE 29, 2016, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 190 RITTENHOUSE CIRCLE, BRISTOL, PA.
