Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to electrical hazards from missing faceplates: (a) Mlsna East Town Dairy, LLC; On or about September 18, 2017, employees were exposed to electrical shocks from energized 120 volt parts that were exposed because a faceplate was not installed on a receptacle in the old barn near the crowd gate controls. (b) Mlsna East Town Dairy, LLC; On or about September 18, 2017, employees were exposed to electrical shocks from energized 120 volt parts that were exposed because a faceplate was not installed on a receptacle located in the hallway between the new and old barns.
