OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of struck by hazards:     On or about September 19, 2017, employees working in the Reload and Preload were exposed to being struck by a package chute when a Warn Industries, Inc. AC Utility Winch, Model #1500AC, was being used as a hoist.  The winch was being used to suspend the package chute in the air, a practice prohibited by the manufacturer.  The winch was not designed or rated to be used as a lifting device.
