29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems.    a) On or about 09/14/2017 - 7616 Highway 72 West, Madison, AL, employees installing insulation and 24 gauge metal decking, roofing materials at approximately 17 feet above the ground were unprotected from falls.    Ultimate Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1132832, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/20/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 11104 Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, AL 35801.
