OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:  On or about September 05, 2017, at the above addressed worksite, employees were using compressed air to operate pneumatic hand tools/equipment, while performing maintenance/repairs for aircraft landing gear components; wherein the compressed air was approximately 120 PSIG/not reduced to the tool/equipment manufacturers safe operating limitation of 90 PSIG, nor did the employees have available a copy of the tool/equipment manufacturers operating instructions, nor did they become familiar with all the instructions and warnings of the operators instructions before operating the tool; therefore exposing the operator and other employees in the work area to the hazards of the release of the compressed air and flying debris.   NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
