29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): On or about August 30, 2017, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were removing and re-installing (repairing) roofing materials on a low slope residential roof, during which each employee was not protected from falling by either a guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems; therefore exposing the employees to fall hazards. NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.

29 CFR 1926.502(k)(1): A fall protection plan was not prepared by a qualified person and developed specifically for the site where the leading edge work, precast work, or residential construction work was being performed: On or about August 30, 2017, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were employees were removing and re-installing (repairing) roofing materials on a low slope residential roof, during which the employer did not provide a Fall Protection Plan required by this subpart/CFR 1926.502(k) for the employees, nor did the employer demonstrate the reason why the use of conventional fall protection was infeasible or created a greater hazard to the employees; therefore exposing the employees to fall hazards. NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
