29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) DuPont Building - 10th and N. Market Streets, Wilmington DE: On or about September 29, 2017, the employer failed to ensure employees were protected from fall hazards. Employees engaged in framing and door installation activities along an unprotected edge approximately 20 feet above grade, were not protected from falls by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
