29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: Field locations; On or about 3/20/18, employees wearing tightfitting full-face, supplied air respirators had facial hair that interfered with the seal of the respirator mask and their faces. Employees wore the respirators to protect them from the isocyanate component of the spray foam insulation that they were applying.
