29 CFR 1928.57(a)(6): At the time of initial assignment and at least annually thereafter, the employer did not instruct every employee in the safe operation and servicing of all covered equipment with which he was or would be involved: a) Employees off-loading potato trucks had not received appropriate instruction, in a language and manner they can understand, regarding the safe operation of equipment. The includes, but is not limited to, the hazards and methods to protect themselves from truck conveyor belts, drive shafts, and other moving and rotating equipment. NOTE-Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item.
