29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. On or about October 3, 2017, at Lot 135, 6350 Wathaw Place, Suwanee, Georgia: Two employees performing framing work were exposed to struck-by hazards from wood chips, sawdust, and nails while operating nail guns and a saw without using eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about October 3, 2017, at Lot 135, 6350 Wathaw Place, Suwanee, Georgia: a) Five employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 15-feet when they worked at the unprotected edge of the second floor of a house that did not have guard rails installed and without using a means of fall protection. b) An employee performing framing work was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 25-feet and greater when he worked at the unprotected edge from the top plate of a house without using fall protection.
