29 CFR 1904.4(a): Basic requirement. Each employer required by this Part to keep records of fatalities, injuries, and illnesses must record each fatality, injury and illness that is work related. a) On 6/2/2017 a recordable injury occurred when an employee was removing a hitch and it fell on his right ankle causing a fracture. Employee was off for 25 days and was transferred to a different job due to the light duty status. The employer did not record the injury on the required 300 logs.
