29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. On or about October 10, 2017, at the construction site located at 4006 Cape Hope Drive, Hilliard, Ohio, employees were performing framing work on a roof of a three story apartment building with a pitch of approximately 5 in 12 and up to approximately 24 feet in height with no fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to a fall hazard.
