29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about October 11, 2917 at 13476 Hwy 125, Jack, Al: The employer failed to ensure employees installing sheathing on a new residential home with a 4:12 pitch roof used fall protection which exposed them to the hazards associated with falling 12 feet 2 inches. b) On or about October 11, 2917 at 13476 Hwy 125, Jack, Al: The employer failed to ensure employees installing trusses and rafters from the first floor top plates used fall protection which exposed them to falls of 9 feet 6 inches to the concrete floor.
