29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets    Location: 617 Broad Street, Weymouth, MA    On or about October 13, 2017, employees were exposed to struck by hazards from overhead construction, where hard hats were not used.    J & M Home Improvement LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1126072, citation number 1, item number 2/a and was affirmed as a final order on 4/26/2016 with respect to a workplace located at 50 Humphrey Street, Swampscott, MA.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.    Location: 617 Broad Street, Weymouth, MA    On or about October 13, 2017, employees were exposed to struck by hazards from flying particles from a pneumatic nail gun, where eye protection was not used.    J & M Home Improvement LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1126072, citation number 1, item number 2/b and was affirmed as a final order on 4/26/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 50 Humphrey Street, Swampscott, MA.
