29 CFR 1926.404(a)(3): A grounding terminal or grounding-type device on a receptacle, cord connector, or attachment plug was used for purposes other than grounding: location: phase 1 office area on or about: 10/12/17 a) Employees were using an electrical cord to power equipment including a Magnum Prox9 Paint Sprayer. The hot and ground wires were reversed. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.

The cord was missing the grounding pin. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
