The employees are permitted to operate forklifts with defects. On and about 10/17/2017 employees operated forklifts which were not removed from service until defects such as, but not limited to, broken brake and signal lights, non-legible identification plates, and oil leaks were corrected.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazards created by in-going nip points, rotating parts, and/or flying chips and sparks: 2450 Adie Road, Suite 100, Maryland Heights: Employer is exposing employees to hazardous conditions. The employees are permitted to operate a drill press without a guard to prevent contact with the rotating parts. On and about 10/17/2017 employees operated a Clausing drill press which was not guarded to prevent employee contact with rotating chuck and drill bit.
