29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Ronfeldt Manufacturing LLC dba Ice Industries Ronfeldt on or about October 17, 2017, at the address of 2345 S. Byrne Rd. Toledo, OH: The employer did not ensure that machine specific energy control procedures were developed and utilized to control potentially hazardous energy sources while employees performed tooling changes on the Omera Lathe #1. The employees performed this activity while electrical energy was not isolated and were exposed to amputation hazards between the automated tooling and lower spindle.
