Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

On or about 10-25-2017 and times prior thereto, located at U.S. Postal Service Denbigh Station 14104 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23602, Condition:  Employee(s) were exposed to electrical hazards where a 110 volt receptacle mounted on a metal column had a damaged cover plate that was exposing the internal connections of the receptacle terminals.  This receptacle was powering postal service scanning equipment.  *CORRECTED DURING THE INSPECTION*  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.
