29 CFR 1926.451(f)(6): Scaffolds were erected, used, dismantled, altered, or moved such that they, or any conductive material handled on them, could have come closer than the minimum distances established for specific voltages as set forth in the table in subparagraph (f)(6): a) Front of building, 201 Cherry Street, Whitaker, Pennsylvania 15120: Observed on or about October 19, 2017, a pump jack scaffold was erected such that the support poles were closer than the minimum distances established for specific voltages as set forth in the table in subparagraph (f)(6). One of the scaffold support poles was located approximately 4 feet from overhead secondary power lines (240 volt) and 4 feet 11 inches from overhead primary power lines (4160 volt, 3 phase). Employees who erected the pump jack scaffold were exposed to electric shock and electrocution hazards.
