29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c):  a) 8725 County Farm Road, Irvington, AL;  On or about October 25, 2017, the employer exposed employees to cave-in hazards in that employees were allowed to work inside of a excavation measuring 11 feet to 15 feet deep, 30 feet wide, and 38 feet in length that was dug in Class B soil with the excavation sloped at an angle of 66 degrees on the unprotected side and the employer did not protect their employees from the cave-in hazards by utilizing an adequate protective system.
