At the jobsite, employees operating Hitachi nail guns while performing roofing activities were not wearing eye protection, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by flying objects.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. At the jobsite, employees engaged in roofing activities at a height of over 6 feet were not protected by a fall arrest system. Employees were exposed to an unprotected fall of over 20 feet to the ground below.
