Employees were engaged in roofing activities with loose objects overhead and no head protection.

Employees ladder did extend at least three (3) feet above the upper landing.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about 11/01/2017 employees at the South Quaker Lane roofing project were exposed to approximately 10' and 18' falls. Employees were engaged in roofing activities without fall protection. Able General Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1138591, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 07/13/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 103 Rockledge Drive, Waterbury, CT 06706.
