29 CFR 1910.213(h)(1): The sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade of radial saw(s) were not guarded to the full diameter of the blade by a device that automatically adjusted itself to the thickness of the stock and remain in contact with stock being cut to give maximum protection possible for the operation being performed: 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group - The Delta radial arm saw side guards for the lower exposed portion of the blade did not automatically adjust to the thickness of the stock being cut.

29 CFR 1960.8(a): The Agency head did not furnish employment and a place of employment to each employee that were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm: 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group - the employer did not ensure employees operating woodworking machinery were provided training to prevent employees from coming into contact with the point of operation of the woodworking equipment in operation. Employee was operating a delta radial arm saw. The employer did not provide basic machine guard safety training involving the wood working equipment. Hazards include, but are not limited to, woodworking equipment not returning to the starting position when being released by the operator. These conditions exposed employees to cuts, crushing hazards or amputation hazards.
