29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was four feet (1.2m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On 11/6/107 , at the Woodstock production facility, the employer did not ensure the platform entrance for Press 17 was protected with guardrails. The platform measured 6 ft. 8 in. from floor levels.
