The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor. Stairs or a ramp must be provided where the exit route is not substantially level.    a) Elyria Rural King Supply Inc., located in Elyria, Ohio:  On or about November 2, 2017, the employer did not ensure exits routes were kept free and unobstructed.  The Southern exit route located in the back of the facility was obstructed by equipment and material.     b)  Elyria Rural King Supply Inc., located in Elyria, Ohio:  On or about November 2, 2017, the employer did not ensure exits routes were kept free and unobstructed. The Eastern exit route located in the back of the facility required employees to travel through a office room that could be locked.
