29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 11/1/17, on the front canopy roof of a building located at 140 East Ave., Lockport NY : An employee on the roof was using a blower to clean dirt off the roof and was exposed to a fall of approx. 16 ft. because no fall protection system was being utilized. b) On or about 11/1/17, on the back lower roof of a building located at 140 East Avenue, Lockport NY : An employee on the roof was using a blower to clean dirt off the roof and was exposed to a fall of approx. 17 ft. because no fall protection system was being utilized. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
