OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards: a) HKT Big Sky Motors Shop, Whip Lift Serial # 014755: On November 7, 2017 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while elevating vehicles using an automotive lift with faulty telescoping arm stops.

29 CFR 1910.28(b)(11)(ii): Each flight of stairs having at least 3 treads and at least 4 risers was not equipped with stair rail systems and handrails in accordance with Table D-2, Stairway Handrail Requirements: a) HKT Big Sky Motors, Northeast Stairwell (Old Shop): On November 7, 2017, and at times prior, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 8 feet while accessing and egressing the storage room from the unguarded flight of stairs. The stairs did not have a mid-rail on the open side.
