Various hazards were present at this site, such as projectiles to the eyes, splinters, and chemical hazards. This condition exposed employees to physical and chemical hazards. Abatement note: 29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2) provides that the employer shall verify that a PPE hazard assessment was performed through a written certification.

The employer plugged several cord and plug tools and machines into a yellow electrical multi tap power strip near the saws. This power strip was not listed and labeled for this use. This condition exposed employees to electrical hazards.
