29 CFR 1910.141(a)(3)(i): Places of employment were not kept clean to the extent that the nature of the work allowed: a) General Shop, Room 102; The soldering workbench tested positive for surface lead contamination. This exposes employees to lead ingestion hazards. *Please note that surfaces (other than glass or metal) are porous and gritty scrubbing cleaners (examples are Soft Scrub, Comet or Ajax) are sometimes needed to fully decontaminate the area from surface lead contamination.
