29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1): It shall be the responsibility of the employer to initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with this part. (a) Cimino Construction on or about November 06, 2017, at the address of 2707 State Route 81, Lima, OH: The employer did not have a plan or program to identify job site hazards which assists employees in maintaining a safe working environment. Such programs would support the employer and employees in identifying and avoiding potential hazards, such as falls during job site operations, decreasing the probability of employee injury and/or illness.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system or personal fall arrest systems: a) Cimino Construction on or about November 06, 2017 at the address of 2707 State Route 81, Lima, Ohio: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while installing new roofing materials (tar paper) to a residential type structure. The employees were exposed to a potential 11 foot fall to the level below. Cimino Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1178766, citation number 1, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on October 31, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 6332 - 6388 Answorth Drivebuilding 29, Columbus, Ohio, 43235.
