29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person:   a) On or about November 8, 2017, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not perform effective frequent and regular inspections of sites that they controlled to identify, correct and/or eliminate hazards to which their employees and/or the employees of subcontractors were exposed.  Hazards include but are not limited to falls from the lack of use of fall protection.   Note: Abatement certification IS required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) On or about November 8, 2017 and at times prior thereto, the controlling employer did not ensure sub-contracted employees were protected while performing framing activities without a fall protection system in place.  Sub-contracted employees were exposed to an approximate 18 foot fall hazard.        Note: Abatement certification IS required for this item.
