29 CFR 1910.27(a): Scaffolds used in general industry did not meet the requirements in 29 CFR part 1926, subpart L (Scaffolds), in that front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment was used to support scaffold platforms which was not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use. On or about October 26, 2017, an employee was working from a wooden pallet, which was elevated by a forklift, in order to reach a dust collector to remove build-up debris from its duct work. This exposed employee(s) to struck-by and/or fall hazards.
