Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems.    On 10/4/2017, employees of Byron Friedhoff Inc. were working on a residential building located at 405 Mason Creek Drive, Lake Saint Louis, MO.  Employees were engaged in framing work on a gable approximately 10 feet above a lower level. Employees were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system.  The employees were observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing themselves to a fall to the ground below.    Byron Friedhoff, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1004216, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/21/2014, with respect to a workplace located at14 Hills Drive, Glendale, MO.
