29 CFR 1926.55(a): Employee(s) were exposed to material(s) at concentrations above those specified in the Threshold Limit Values of Airborne Contaminants for 1970 of the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists:  Worksite, 8200 Boulevard East, North Bergen, NJ    a) A subcontractor employee performing masonry demolition of concrete balcony structures in the vicinity of the 12th floor of Section G of the building was exposed to crystalline silica at 51.20 mppcf (million particles per cubic foot) which was 4.13 times the permissible exposure limit of 12.38 mppcf.  The time sampled was 431 minutes.  Zero exposure was assumed for the 49 minutes that were not sampled.  b)  A subcontractor employee performing masonry demolition of concrete balcony structures in the vicinity of 28th floor of Section C of the building was exposed to crystalline silica at 17.25 mppcf (million particles per cubic foot) which was 1.38 times the permissible exposure limit of 12.5 mppcf.  The time sampled was 398 minutes.  Zero exposure was assumed for the 82 minutes that were not sampled.  Violation occurred on 5-26-17
