a) On or about November 13, 2017 and times prior at the glue line: The employer failed to ensure proper guarding was installed to protect employees from getting caught-in chain and sprocket while feeding veneer which exposes them to potential finger amputations. 29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven -7 feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: a) On or about November 13, 2017 and times prior at the glue line: The employer failed to ensure proper guarding was installed to protect employees from getting caught-in chain and sprocket while clearing scrap pieces of veneer as they were feeding bundles of veneer which exposes them to potential finger amputations.
