29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: a) Jobsite, 2014 Lincoln Avenue, Latrobe, PA 15650: On or before November 13, 2017, employees were working unprotected and exposed to fall hazards of approximately 18 feet 1 inch while working on a flat roof. The R.A. Haitz Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1046049, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4-17-2015, with respect to a workplace located at 8200 Park Road, Batavia, NY 14020.
